AS Cargo Service Pvt. Ltd. started in 2009 with four trucks. Today we move 48,000 shipments a year by air, rail and road for 1,900 clients — and we still answer the phone.
Our story
Built by people who drove the trucks themselves
AS Cargo Service began in 2009 with four trucks, a rented desk in West Delhi, and a conviction that most freight problems are communication problems in disguise. The first clients were auto-component makers whose deliveries kept arriving without warning, late or early, and always without a phone call.
Fixing that meant controlling more of the chain than a trucker normally does. Air freight came in 2013 because clients kept needing a part on a plane tonight. Warehousing followed in 2016. Rail arrived in 2019, when a bulk client's long-haul road bill finally made the case for a container rake impossible to ignore.
That order of growth is why our operation is structured around the shipment rather than the mode. A single coordinator owns your file from pickup to proof of delivery, with the air, rail, road and warehouse teams reporting into that file instead of into separate queues.
We are deliberately mid-sized. Big enough to hold block space with 30+ air carriers and book full rakes on our own account; small enough that the managing director still reviews every escalation personally.

How the business grew, one mode at a time
Every expansion started as a client problem we could not solve with the modes we already ran.
2009
Founded as a road operator
Started with four trucks running the Delhi–Jaipur–Ludhiana triangle, and one promise nobody else in the yard was making: a phone call before the delay, not after it.
2013
Air freight division
Gained IATA cargo agent accreditation and moved the office to Mahipalpur, minutes from the IGI Terminal 3 cargo complex, so urgent uplift no longer went through a third-party forwarder.
2016
Warehousing division
Commissioned 120,000 sq ft in the NCR belt, deliberately sited beside the highway and rail head so cargo could switch modes without a long shuttle.
2019
Rail freight division
Signed our first container rake contract and set up terminal handling at ICD locations — cutting long-haul cost 30–45% for bulk clients who had only ever used road.
2022
Multimodal on one waybill
Merged air, rail and road booking into a single shipment file, with route modelling that prices every mode combination against the client deadline.
2025
48,000 shipments a year
A 240-vehicle fleet, 22 rail terminal tie-ups and 600,000 sq ft of warehousing, moving freight for 1,900 active clients out of the Mahipalpur head office.
